I love to cook and to share cooking experiences. Cooking in a wood-fired oven is different and my husband and I have been experimenting with breads and pizzas in our home-made wood-fired oven for several years. Bread has been made in wood-fired ovens for millennia and I believe that bread baked like this tastes infinitely better than any other bread. The moist air inside the oven helps to develop delicious, chewy crusts while the hot oven floor gives a beautiful finish.
This experience is designed for special corporate events, teambuilding, parties, etc. We provide a beautiful outdoor setting and a wood-fired oven ready for a bread baking competition. As amateur bakers, participants will compete against each other and attempt to impress a group of judges with their baking skills. We can accommodate up to 12 people and bake up to 12 breads. We suggest the participants be organized in teams, e.g. four teams of three with each team baking up to three loaves. Each team is free to choose any type of bread. After the competition, the participants will get to taste and enjoy all the different breads they have baked. It will be up to the organizer to decide on the judging and prizes.

- Each team will bring bread doughs ready to be baked.

This is an outdoor event and may be subject to rescheduling in case of bad weather.
